The Prince William Sound Area Pacific cod parallel season closed to vessels using jig gear at 12:00 noon on May 27.
The state-waters Pacific cod guideline harvest level for the pot/jig gear sectors was achieved on March 6. Therefore, there will be no PWS state-waters jig season in 2026.
There is a 24-hour delivery time requirement following the closure of a groundfish fishery. For more information, contact ADF&G in Homer at (907) 235-8191.
