Cordova finished third at the conference volleyball playoffs in Anchorage on Nov. 20-22.
Unalaska took first place for the second year in a row, and SuValley came in second, also for the second year in a row. Both will advance to the state finals.
Cordova improved from fourth place last year to third this year, and the team is already setting a goal of making it to state next year.
Cordova’s twins Victoria and Isabelle Nothstine were named to the All-Conference team.
Several of the Cordova volleyball players will have a brief break before shifting to basketball.
Basketball practice begins on Dec. 1.
