State transportation officials are seeking public comment through Jan. 13 on the Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS) 2026 schedule, for savings from May 1 through Sept. 30, 2026.
Comments may be emailed to [email protected]. Two statewide virtual public meetings are scheduled to hear comments and consider schedule adjustments.
The public is also encouraged to submit special event information. AMHS officials said they will work to contract supplemental service, if needed to cover service disruptions.
