Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend payments are set at $1,000 plus an additional $200 energy relief payment this year, for a grand total of $1,200. The payments will be issued to nearly 600,000 eligible state residents beginning Oct. 1.

The Alaska Department of Revenue’s announcement last week noted this year’s PFD was determined by the Legislature in House Bill 263.

PFD applications filed electronically requesting direct deposit and in the “Eligible-Not Paid” category as of Sept. 18 payment will be disbursed on Oct. 1. Applications that were in “Eligible-Not Paid” status as of Oct. 12 will be disbursed on Oct. 22.
