Gulf of Alaska (GOA) groundfish specifications are on the agenda for the Oct. 8-13 meeting of the North Pacific Fishery Management Council in Anchorage.
The council has posted the complete agenda for the meeting at the Egan Center in downtown Anchorage online and is accepting comments from Sept. 11 through Oct. 2.

Other major actions include final acceptable biological catch/overfishing limit (ABC/OFL) recommendations for GOA arrowtooth flounder, rex sole and skates.
The council has also tentatively scheduled time to hear a discussion paper on prohibited species catch disposition.
