“216 ballots were counted tonight – 179 that were cast at the polls today and 37 that had been

voted early,” Cordova City Clerk Susan Bourgeois told the Cordova Times. “There are as many as 18 left to count depending on how many are returned timely by mail. March 22 at 9 a.m. the rest of the ballots will be counted. The election will be certified at a noon City Council special meeting on March 22.”

So far, David Glasen is ahead in the polls by 27 votes for his school board seat. Kelsey Haden is ahead by 26 votes for the Cordova Community Medical Center Authority Board.
