The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 6-14-19 thru 6-20-19. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
JUNE 14, Friday:
8 a.m. Caller requested an individual be trespassed from their property. An officer responded to the area and trespassed the individual. 1 p.m. Caller reported they had a guest over for dinner and the guest had stolen items from their home. An officer is currently investigating the report.
JUNE 15, Saturday:
12 a.m. Caller reported a dog barking on Whitshed Road. An officer responded and found the animals and identified the owner. The officer located the dogs’ owner driving on Whitshed Road and arrested Earl Wiese, age 58 of Cordova, Alaska, for DUI. 1:10 a.m. Caller requested an ambulance. An ambulance responded and transported a patient to the hospital. 6:58 p.m. CCMC requested an ambulance for a medivac transport. The ambulance responded and provided transport for the patient.
JUNE 16, Sunday:
6:03 a.m. CCMC requested an ambulance for a medivac transport. The ambulance responded and provided transport for the patient.
JUNE 17, Monday:

JUNE 18, Tuesday:
Nothing to report.
JUNE 19, Wednesday:
9:24 a.m. Caller reported a stolen firearm. An officer contacted the complainant and is currently investigating the report.
JUNE 20, Thursday:
7:03 a.m. A vehicle traveling down Whitshed Road reported a domestic dispute between a man and a woman that was occurring in the middle of the street. An officer responded to the area and contacted the women.

From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday unless otherwise posted. DMV is located at 602 Railroad Ave. Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
