Ahtna Environmental Inc. adds five to staff

Ahtna Inc., the Alaska Native regional corporation headquartered in Glennallen, has announced the addition of five new employees to the staff of subsidiary Ahtna Environmental, Inc.

Nathan Hagar joins AEI as a geologist based in the company’s Fairbanks office. Hagar, a University of Alaska Fairbanks graduate in geological engineering, will be a field team lead for projects such as the installation and startup of an air sparge/soil vapor extraction system at Fort Wainwright, and sampling contaminated media at Fairbanks sites and in Tanana.

Martin Molyneux is a new senior project manager for AEI’s construction team based in Anchorage. He has 27 years of experience in Alaska and California managing megaprojects with values of over $5 billion on Alaska’s North Slope, and in performing operational work involving major facilities, pipelines, sealifts and fabrication. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Justin Dunn, also a senior project manager in Anchorage, has an associate of applied science degree in small business management from WyoTech in Laramie, Wyo. He has extensive background in commercial vertical construction in Alaska and has worked on construction projects from the North Slope to Kodiak Island for federal, municipal and private entities.

Marty Walker, a site superintendent based in Anchorage, has 22 years of civil construction experience, with extensive background in equipment operation. He has supervised federal, state, municipal and private client projects that include ice road construction on Alaska’s North Slope and expansion of the Port of Anchorage.

Wayne Johnson has joined AEI’s Anchorage office as senior superintendent. He has 30 years of experience in all phases of construction, including providing comprehensive project supervision, quality control, safety management and project administration.
