Cordova area residents are invited to a meet and greet for Gov. Bill Walker on Saturday, Sept. 1, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Reluctant Fisherman Inn.
The event will be hosted by inn owner Sylvia Lange, with co-hosts including Mike Anderson, Karl Becker, Joe and Belen Cook and Tommy Sheridan.
The incumbent governor is running for re-election as an independent candidate against Democrat Mark Begich and Republican Mike Dunleavy.
