The Bob Korn Memorial Pool will reopen June 8 in the wake of lifeguard training conducted last month by the Cordova Parks and Recreation Department.
However, due to scheduling conflicts with the six newly trained lifeguards, the pool is currently short-staffed and will operate on a limited schedule.
Pool staff currently includes one fulltime lifeguard and one lifeguard with limited availability.
A schedule for the pool’s new operating hours and dates will be provided soon.
